Easy read, high level survey, good place to begin you journey to understanding India.
This is the worst written history book I have ever had to read.please do not buy this book unless it is a requirement . It us horribly written and extremely painful to read through.
This book is quite informative with history and geography without being too dry. That said, color photos and more graphics would be appreciated. (In other words, this is not a DK Guide, in case that's what you're expecting).
